    East Algarve Coastal Tour

    Visit Cacela Velha with its beautiful old church and postcard views over the Ria Formosa, and the castle of Castro Marim, where you can enjoy the beautiful views from this old defensive old fort over the Guadiana estuary.

    Nature Reserve Castro Marim

    The Nature Reserve of the Salt-Marsh of Castro Marim and Vila Real de Santo António is one of the favourite places for migratory birds. You can also see the incredibly beautiful flight of storks, or the pink clouds of flamingos.
    Here, the salt is gathered using traditional methods, and it glistens in the sunlight, unexpectedly white in between the green of the fields and the blue of the river. Don't forget your camera!

    Ria Formosa

    One of the most attractive cities in Algarve is Olhão, with its houses with roof terraces, and its minarets, a patchwork of white cubes which earned it the epithet of the “cubist” city. The traditional market is a must see.
